| Interest in motorcycling is at an all-time peak. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| More motorcycles have been sold in the last decade than in the previous two decades combined. Most importantly, the association between cyclist and charity fundraising is well established. The Chicago Green Ribbon Motorcycle Rally is on its way to positioning itself as Chicago's premiere motorcycle event. Before the Green Ribbon Motorcycle Rally, Chicago didn't have a warm-weather motorcycle event. With further support, the Green Ribbon Rally is poised to fill that void with the roar of hundreds of cruisers, sport and touring bikes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| More than 1100 people participated in the Inaugural Chicago Green Ribbon Motorcycle Rally, including avid riders, CEOs, curious motorcycle enthusiasts, parents and children. With the success of documentary and reality-based programming, featured
primetime on The Discovery Channel and TLC, motorcycles are now more than
ever part of mainstream America. Local events such as the International
Motorcycle Show at the Donald E Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont
are some of Chicagoland's best The rider community comes from all walks of life. Lawyers, plumbers, accountants and even the occasional movie star all leave their everyday lives behind when they put on their leather and boots and climb aboard their beloved bikes. In fact the average motorcycle owner is married, 40 years of age and has a median income of $80,000/year. Many riders will tell you that one of their fondest pleasures and most frequent activities is to gather with their brethren to raise money for worthwhile causes. The Green Ribbon Motorcycle Rally is your opportunity to be part of a notable charitable mission, gain exposure to an ever growing market segment and be associated with a well marketed, successful motorcycle event. |
